Thalia and Laura Pausini filmed the music video for “Sino a ti”

About three weeks ago we got the exciting news of Laura Pausini’s duet with Thalia on the Spanish version of Laura’s song – Sino a ti and yesterday the two wonderful artists got together in New York to film the music video for the single.

Thalia shared a lot of backstage moments throughout the day (which started before 5 am for her):

and even a shot from the music video:

Meanwhile, Laura also shared a photo from the set:

And here’s another backstage photo:

Finally, we got to see Thalia and Laura together, in a video message they recorded for their fans:

Aaaaaaaawwww ♥ ♥ ♥ This made me so happy! 😀

The music video for Sino a Ti is expected to be released two weeks from now, on August 26 (perfect gift for Thalia’s birthday!) Are you looking forward to it?

Univision’s Primer Impacto was invited to the making of the music video and Thalia and Laura gave a short interview:

Thanks Thalía World for the HD video!

Now we know how this duet emerged, it was Laura who sent Thalia an email and told her about the song and the video and while at first Thalia almost thought it was a joke, the record company soon confirmed it to her and there they are! I’ve seen some comments of people asking who needed who and stuff like that, in my opinion both Thalia and Laura are equally amazing artists with decades of experience and success, so this duet should be mainly seen as a wonderful collaboration between them and not just a publicity thing to make one of them benefit from the other.

Regarding the video, I already said in the comment section below that I was hoping to see an outdoor one and not something filmed on a set, but then I remembered Laura’s videos for Limpido and Mi tengo which I really liked so I’m ok with this type of music video. Now that we’ve got a sneak peek at what was going on on that set I’m really looking forward to the entire video, as Thalia and Laura both look flawless and adorable together and I don’t need anything else! Laura also said that some of the poses in the video, as well as details in their looks were inspired by Frida Kahlo, so that’s another thing to watch out for!

Once again I have to say how happy I am to see these two together, as a fan of both I know they’re two incredible, strong and down to earth women, who at the same time are hilarious and a bit crazy :P. This is simply a match made in heaven!  *now I’m dreaming of a whole album haha*

Update 2: Here’s the official audio! PS: Read my post about it too!

well according to Laura’s webpage the video is out on the 26th, don’t know where you read 16, but maybe that’s the song release?

I’m glad that the Facebook video was longer than the Instagram one and got to see Laura sneak up like that hahaha they have a similar sense of humor 😀 and yes, being a fan of both and getting to see them together is amazing! I really want to listen to the song!!

about the video, I was hoping they’d do something different, outside on the streets of New York or at a location or smth, not on a set like that.. but hey, at least they filmed together not like with Estou Apaixonado; if it’s gonna be something like Limpido or Mi tengo I wouldn’t mind 😀

Limpido – the video’s better without the guy, i mean what the heck? unless he’s relevant to the song 😀 Hope Sino a ti video just not as bland and boring with Estou, I thought that they are recording separately, soooo relieved to see that they are together haha i miss seeing a real music video from Thalia, something like Ensename a vivir

Wow. I am also excited to hear the song and watch the video. This is just a dream come true. I am also thinking that the style of the music video would be something like Limpido or like the style of Amar Sin Ser Amada. Can’t wait…
