Remember that a while ago Thalia was recording some Portuguese versions of her songs? Well, today one of them has finally surfaced online, thanks to the EP Daniel 30 Anos –
O Musical, which features a new rendition of Estoy enamorado (called Estou apaixonado) with yes, you’ve guessed correctly, Daniel, a singer from Brazil who’s celebrating 30 years of career.
While it took me far too long to get to like this song (and sometimes I still have doubts about that) and regarding a new version, I would have preferred a studio one of the bachata Thalia and Pedro Capo did during her Viva! Tour, I guess Estou apaixonado is a good start when it comes to Thalia giving back her Portuguese speaking fans and I hope more songs in this language are on their way!
